The Mott Boys Varsity had an excellent final 2 weeks of the season.
Last weekend the Varsity Team was looking to keep their qualifying streak alive in the KLAA championship tournament. They did just that and qualified seventh. Mott met John Glenn in the first match, The 3 game roll off ended in a tie. A 5 frame sudden death roll off was held to determine who would move on to the next round. Unfortunately, the Mott boys fell short and our day was over.
This weekend, regionals were held at 300 bowl in Waterford. Friday’s team qualifier snapped Mott’s qualifying streak. Only the top three teams qualified for the state tournament. Mott finished a disappointing 9th.
Day 2, was the singles competition, where Mott faired much better. This 6 game event places the top 10 bowlers into the state tournament.
