Corsairs News · Mott Wins Warrior Relays, Picks up Medals at Rochester and Saline

We took a young squad over to the Falcon Frosh-Soph meet at Rochester where rain, wind, cold temps, and a computer crash made it a late night. Medalists for the girls included Shauna Bailey (1st– 100), Brenna Scyzoryk (6th 100H), the 4×200 of Gean, Bailey, Tyler, and Jefferson (4th), the 4×100 of Scyzoryk, Bailey, Jefferson, and Tyler (4th), and Mikayla Gean (HJ- 2nd, 200-5th). I’m not sure of the boys’ medalists, and the meet managers have as of yet been unable to provide us with full results, so stay tuned!

On Friday, at the Saline Golden Triangle, with a multitude of teams competing, medals were not easy to come by! On the girls’ side medalists were Lexi Munley (1600-6th), and Sam Saikalis (HJ-4th), and on the boys’ side: Bo Grymut (200-5th), Brennan Munley (1600-6th), Ryan Robinson (3200-3rd). The great competition brought out personal and season bests for many of our athletes!

On Saturday, the boys traveled to Brother Rice for the Warrior Relays, and WON the event! Meet coverage and results can be found here:

TOMORROW’S MEET: Tomorrow is our first (and last) dual meet of the season at home. With a win, the girls will clinch a 2nd-straight division championship and the seniors will bring their 4-year dual meet record to (18-2). We need volunteers for all field event and timing responsibilities! If you are available, please respond to this email so I can figure out where we need people! saline sprinters
